3-4 gentlemen who are willing to walk the church/parking lot throughout the week. Help if they see anything amiss and help in the unlikely case that we need to evacuate the building or shelter in place for inclement weather.
(at least 4 for the week) We could always use friendly faces to welcome the kids and families into the building. This is a great option for folks that cannot stay for all 3 hours. We can break up the week and morning/afternoon shifts.
(at least 4, more for the first day) The first day is always an exciting time and we need folks to keep the line moving as kids collect their name tags and get dropped off in the worship center.
(at least 5) You will be working with a specific age group but not necessarily directly with the kids, just make sure leaders have what they need and keep an eye out for any stragglers with the group.
(2 adults. 2 youth) This is only available for the children of people volunteering for VBX. You would remain in the nursery and love on the smallest image bearers at Wildwood, while their parents are serving.
(2 adults, 2 youth) This is only available for volunteers’ children. You will have a slower paced VBX experience with less travel around the church, but absolutely just as much fun! Join in for large group at the beginning and end of the morning then enjoy a fun schedule with kids ages 3-4.
(4 adults, 2 youth) You will help groups understand directions, interact with kids and volunteers, and make sure supplies are available. All our crafts this year are either tools for sharing the gospel, or can be used while sharing.
(At least 48 adults) We anticipate at least 24 small groups of 10 kids or less. Small groups are broken down into 5 year old-rising kindergarten, older kindergarten-1st grade, 2-3 grade and 4-5 grade. You would be leading the kids through a discussion of the lesson each day, memorize the verse of the week, pray together and take a quiet moment in the day. Also make sure the kids travel to all their different rotations and help where needed with your group
(At least 48) You are crowd control!! Helping kids stay focused and together as you travel around the church. Making connections with kids in your small group. Being involved in activities as the kids participate. Helping the small group leaders as they lead the discussion.

During the week of VBX, we will be raising funds for our friends in Asia, who are working with local churches and a Christian school to tell the gospel to many people who have never heard it! This country is influenced by a false religion that most people there follow. They do not believe in Jesus, but many people are hearing the good news of Jesus and coming out of this fake belief! The pig farm will support local pastors as well as the Christian school in sharing the Gospel. Many of the children who attend this school live very far away and are not able to travel home so they are allowed to live at the school for much of the year.
