The Word of God affects every aspect of our lives. God's Word tells us how our sin can be taken away, and how we are given Christ's righteousness. More than that, it shows us how we should live according to that new identity. James 1:19-21 tells us how God literally "implants" the word within us as believers. Those of us who have God's Word implanted within us will prioritize listening to it. His Word will shape our speech, emotions, and actions!
