For over 400 years the people of God had to walk by faith and not by sight. All they had known had been taken from them: God’s presence in the Temple, His prophets, His miracles, His king, all taken from them. Yet, He is a God who keeps His promises. After 430 years, God broke His silence at the birth of Jesus.
Today we once again have opportunity to walk by faith not by sight. We, too, may be asking, “How long, Lord?” If we remember all God has done and respond by trusting Him, we will walk in life and peace!
