In Acts 16:31 we read, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved...” If salvation is found in believing in the Lord Jesus, we ought to seek to understand what it means that Jesus is Lord. Plenty of people in authority lord it over them, but does Jesus lord over His followers? Perhaps you’ve had a bad experience with authority; there’s good news for you! Jesus is a gracious, loving, and merciful Lord!
