A Blessed Hope

Jesus’ resurrection is called the “firstfruits” because it is a clear indicator of what is to come. In other words, because Jesus paid the penalty of our sin by dying on the cross and because He defeated death by rising from the dead you and I have real reason to have hope in this life and in the life to come. This is what we call Resurrection Hope and we’re going to spend the next three weeks exploring it in 1 Peter.
