Please note: Halfway through the sermon Pastor Brian referred to Genesis 15:6 and Abraham's faith and mistakenly said the context was him offering Isaac on the altar. While Abraham's faith certainly included believing God to come through for him when he was about to sacrifice Isaac, that episode did not occur until Genesis 22. In Genesis 15, Abraham, then named Abram, believed God would give him an heir and his offspring would be like the stars in the sky. Abram believed this and it was counted to him as righteousness. This belief certainly impacted his subsequent obedience to offer Isaac on the altar, but that was a different occasion than what Pastor Brian referenced in Genesis 15:6.
