Unwrapping the Names of Jesus – Immanuel | Isaiah 7:14
What does it mean when someone says, “I’m with you”? Does it mean in proximity or in support? It would mean either. In the case of Jesus, it means both! The name given to the child born of a virgin was Immanuel, which means “God with us.” God entered our world and walked with us in full humanity in the person of Jesus. He came to us! If you ever wonder if God loves you, all you have to do is remember Jesus.
